The Lucky Story

We purchased Lucky from Doug Sprague, an ARBA judge from Spokane, Washington.  Doug named the rabbit Lucky because he was lucky to find a home with us.  He was the best of the litter but at 9 weeks old the litter just was not looking like anything promising.

Lucky blossomed at 9 months old.  He had been placing either first or second in the junior category but there were never enough junior bucks to win a leg and he never beat out the senior bucks.

His first leg came at the Kallispell, Montana show in April 2005.  He won BOB in both Shows A and B.  Then he went on to take his first BIS in Show A.  From then on he went on to win three other BIS and a RIS at the Washington State Convention in 2005.

We enjoy having Lucky in our barn and he has produced some very nice babies for us.  We are grateful to Doug for being such a great friend and helping us in our rabbit experience.  Lucky sure turned out to be a "lucky" buck!
