Our policy consists of the terms and conditions outlined below for any transaction(s) made with the Little Bunny Rabbitry.

 

PURCHASE TERMS

  • All sales are final.  All sales are on a first come, first serve basis.  See deposit conditions below to hold a rabbit.

  • No cash refunds are given for any reason.

  • We will accept healthy rabbits in good condition that are returned in order to find them another home when possible.

 

HOLDS

  • No promises are made to hold a rabbit without a deposit.

  • $10.00 non-refundable deposit per rabbit is required to hold a rabbit, provided the purchaser is picking up the rabbit from our place.  The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price. 

  • 50% of the purchase price non-refundable deposit per rabbit is required to hold a rabbit that is to be delivered to a meeting point other than our place.

  • Adult rabbits are held for up to two (2) weeks unless arranged otherwise. 

  • Baby rabbits are held for up to 12 weeks old.

  • Once a deposit is made, we hold the rabbit specifically for you and will not sell it to anyone else.

  • If you fail to pick up a rabbit that is on hold or decide not to purchase the rabbit, regardless of the reason, you forfeit all monies paid toward the purchase of the rabbit.

  • Trades are made only at the discretion of the Little Bunny Rabbitry and within similar breed, age, sex, and price ranges.

 

WAITING LIST

  • A deposit is required to be listed on our waiting list. 

  • We encourage only serious inquiries and will make every effort possible to provide you with a quality rabbit that meets your specifications on the waiting list as soon as it is ready to be sold.   

  • The waiting list is subject to first come, first serve basis with the first person getting the next available rabbit and so on. 

 

GUARANTEE

  • We try to be as fair and courteous as possible. 

  • We strive to raise and sell quality rabbits.  We work hard to prevent against disease and genetic defects. 

  • We raise only purebred animals and offer pedigrees as available. 

  • We guarantee rabbits we sell to be free from disease at the time we sell them and will replace a rabbit if it becomes sick within one week of the time of pick-up.

  • This guarantee is conditioned on the fact that the rabbit goes to a clean cage and is not around other animals that may be diseased whether known or not. 

  • The replacement guarantee only extends to the one-week period for only unknown causes.

  • We do not replace rabbits that have been destroyed or injured by dogs or other predators for any reason whatsoever. 

  • We also do not replace rabbits that break any bones after they have left our possession or later develop any  disqualifications.

  • Replacement after the one-week period will be subject to the discretion of the Little Bunny Rabbitry and only for good cause. 

 

SHOW-QUALITY

  • On rabbits that are considered "ARBA show quality" and sold as a "showable rabbit" we make every effort possible to inspect for any disqualifications and guarantee the rabbit to be free from any disqualifications ONLY at the time of the sale.  We do not have any control over changes that may occur after the sale. 

  • Young rabbits often are still maturing and we cannot indefinitely know how they will turn out as mature rabbits, so we can only guarantee the rabbit is free from disqualification at the age it is purchased.

  • "ARBA showable" means the rabbit can be shown in an approved American Rabbit Breeders Association show and that it is free from disqualifications.  This does not guarantee the rabbit's placing in a show, only that it meets the minimum requirements to be shown. 

  • "ARBA showable, except for weight" means the rabbit does not have any disqualifications other than it may be over the weight limit.  A rabbit's weight changes as it matures and often brood does go over the maximum show weight.  This designation means the rabbit is free from disqualification other than weight.

 

SHIPPING POLICY

  • We always encourage transportation via friends or family because it is more economical.  We travel frequently through the north western United States (WA, ID, MT, OR, and sometimes UT).  We are more than willing to arrange meeting points with people during our travels in order to pick up a rabbit.

  • We can ship rabbits via approved airline carriers (like Delta, Alaska Airlines, etc.).  Currently, ground carriers such as the US Postal Office and UPS do NOT accept rabbits or other mammals for shipment.   

  • Airline travel is only possible weather permitting.  Sorry, but we cannot ship rabbits when the temperatures are below 20 degrees or above 85 degrees, for health and safety reasons.

  • Purchaser is required to pay for all the additional costs for travel which may include but is not limited to the following:  vet health certificate, airline approved carrier, transportation and handling costs, airline shipment costs, and declared value insurance.  These fees are in addition to the cost of the rabbit(s) ($50 minimum price).

  • We always insure the airline shipment under a declared value, if allowed via the airline carrier.  It is the purchaser's responsibility to collect the declared value if anything was to happen to the rabbit(s) during shipment.

  • Under no circumstance can we refund any part of the costs associated with airline travel.  

  • A rabbit must be at least 8 weeks old to travel.  We encourage multiple rabbit purchases and young rabbits can often travel together.

  • All costs including the purchase price of the rabbit must be paid prior to shipment.  We do accept PayPal payments. Shipment of the rabbit MUST occur within 10 days of the health certificate issued by a vet.  Otherwise, another health certificate must be issued and all duplicate costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

  • Rabbits can be returned to us, provided they are healthy and in good condition, however we are NOT responsible for paying for ANY transportation costs to return the rabbit(s) to our place.  That is the responsibility of the purchaser. 

  • Should anything unexplained happen to the rabbit within one week after arrival of the rabbit, we will replace the rabbit - see our guarantee above.  However, transportation costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser. 

 

We are happy to provide any information to people about raising and caring for rabbits.  We enjoy breeding these bunnies and wish to encourage people to enjoy rabbits as well.
